ML-EPM now works as a connector for Claude. Once you connect it, you can ask Claude — in plain language — about the health, security, and OS-patch status of every Windows, macOS, Linux, and QNAP device enrolled in your account. No dashboards to dig through; just ask.

What you can ask

After connecting, try questions like:

  • “Which of my machines are behind on OS patches or end-of-life?”
  • “List devices that haven’t reported telemetry in the last hour.”
  • “Show me machines low on disk space, and which volumes.”
  • “Are any devices on battery power or pending a reboot after patching?”
  • “What’s the security posture of the front-desk PC — disk encryption, firewall, screen lock?”
  • “Find machines with WiFi or gateway/DNS connectivity issues.”
  • “Give me a fleet-wide OS compliance summary.”

Claude picks the right ML-EPM tool, pulls live data from your fleet, and answers.

What it can see (and what it can’t)

The connector is read-only and scoped to your account. It can read:

  • System info (OS version, CPU, architecture, uptime, hostname, agent version)
  • Resource metrics (CPU, memory, disk, WiFi signal)
  • Disk and SMART health, battery and power state
  • Network connectivity (gateway/DNS reachability and latency)
  • Security posture (disk encryption, firewall, screen lock)
  • Watched services and OS patch/end-of-life status

It cannot change anything on your devices, and it only ever sees the devices enrolled under your own account. It collects no conversation data and never reads your Claude chat history, memory, or uploaded files.

How to connect

You’ll need an active ML-EPM license and at least one enrolled device. Your OAuth details are on your portal account page under MCP Server → OAuth / Bearer.

Claude.ai

  1. Go to Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Enter the server URL: https://ml-epm.mcp.miller-lange.org/mcp (and, if prompted, the Client ID / Client Secret shown on your portal page).
  3. Click Connect. A login window opens — sign in with your ML-EPM portal email and password.
  4. Approve access. You’re done — ask one of the questions above to test it.

Claude Desktop / Claude Code

Add the same server URL as a remote MCP connector; you’ll be guided through the same portal sign-in. See the support page for client-specific steps.

Security & privacy

  • Sign-in uses OAuth 2.0 (Authorization Code + PKCE) against your ML-EPM portal account — Claude never sees your password.
  • Access tokens are validated and bound to your account; you only see your own devices.
  • Telemetry is stored encrypted in AWS and automatically expires after 30 days.
  • Full details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Requirements

  • An active ML-EPM license (sign up)
  • One or more enrolled devices (Windows, macOS, Linux, or QNAP)
